As I mentioned back on Monday, I was sitting in car charging cell phones. Well, right around 12 AM as I left the car, this song was half-way done, and all I heard is "Gloria!" I looked it up... and here we are. Let the classiness of the 1980s wash over you like an acid trip.

These past 12 hours have been horrifying. I've had the chills, a high fever, severe headache, and have been very dizzy. But I feel much better this morning, with a faint headache and some dizziness. Thanks to that, no Facebook until 35 minutes ago. And when I did log-on, this is what I found.

We Don't Need No Education!

I'm an amateur arranger. I love to transcribe music, write down, arrange it, and hopefully find someone to play it. I think this would be a great project, but I don't think I have the time.* But what I really love is when ethnic music groups take a song and play it in their own style. Makes my head float. :)

Chicagoland Music

I went to Chicago this last week to attend the wedding of a relative. And while at the reception, all three cellphones belonging to my sister, cousin, and myself ran out of battery. So I ran to the car and charged all three, sitting there in the cold Chicago night, listening to the radio for about an hour. I was radio-surfing...
