New Changes Coming!

Since October last, this blog (in terms of design) has seen very little change. But in the coming weeks (starting next week), I hope to start modernizing the blog, taking some things from my main blog, like ratings or such.

I'll introduce a new logo, a new blog design, and I'll start categorizing music by genre (i.e. rock, alternative, etc.) so it's easier to find what you want... and what I want when I need it. Maybe I'll even back-track all 80 posts before this one... maybe.

All this and more, coming soon to The Archenemy, a blog celebrating a year of the ESF blog.

I Had to Phone Someone...

This past week, I've been rushing to finish a Flash movie for my computer class. I've been taking it home and working on it, usually 'til about 1 AM (starting at 9 PM), and then going to bed at around 3 AM. Ever since that imprisonment in our school's coliseum, my sleep schedule has been all wonky.

At 3 AM, while wrapping up my day on the computer, there was this documentary playing about NASA in the background. While talking about an incident near a U.S. base in Britain in 1981, this was what they used to get their point across. It was about 12 second clip, and that melody got to me. And I hope to you, too.

From his 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, here is David Bowie's "Starman."
There's a starman waiting in the sky! He'd like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'd blow our minds! There's a starman waiting in the sky! He told us not to blow it 'cause he knows it's worthwhile.

I'm Leaving You...

My bathroom mirror has seen a lot. It's seen thunderstorms, snowstorms, and angles that are less then perfection. It's also seen lots of wet heads, wet heads, and lip syncs. When it comes to Gotye, I'm all aboard! But when I know the words, I get fired up. And so, here's my latest sync.

From her album 21, Adele's "Rumor Has It."
Bless your soul, you got your head in the clouds.
She's made a fool out of you; Lord she's bringing me down.

Notice: The beginning of the video has some coarse language.
